Referrals to the EAST CLARE PRIMARY CARE COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY SERVICE come from self-referral as well as general practice (GPs), psychiatry, psychology, community health, community mental health, pastoral care, schools, universities, hospices, hospitals and family law.
This Counselling and Psychotherapy Service assures competent and professional confidentiality and adheres to the practice and policy of the Data Protection Act (1988; Amendment Act, 2003) and the Freedom of Information Act (1997; Amendment Act, 2003).
Therapy sessions are typically 1 hour in duration and are suitable for both short and longer term therapeutic engagement. Cost of Service: €50 per hour session.
